Our 18-year therapeutic journey

I am presenting at the Victorian Mental Illness Awareness Council (VMIAC) Our People / Our Voice Conference November 2017.

Entitled Co-designing Care - Acknowledging the 'Client' in 'Service', my counsellor Ruth Dunn and I will share the knowledge, experience and insight of our 18-year therapeutic journey to benefit others within the mental health sector.

The Conference will provide unique insights and understandings from lived experience experts about future directions for mental health in Australia.

The conference will support the consumer workforce and the community from which it is drawn to come together to articulate and redefine a vision, purpose and place within a changing society.

I will perform my narrative live onstage, and Ruth’s story will be projected on screen.
